Performance numbers for this car in stock configuration are very good, but with these modifications, they approach super-car levels. The stock S52 engine generates 240 hp, but this motor's output is closer to 300 hp. The car handles and brakes as you would expect from a BMW Motorsport vehicle. The exhaust note on this car is incredible; it goes from a throaty rumble at idle to a high pitched roar when pushed. Even with sports car performance, with a BMW, you do not have to sacrifice luxuries. This car includes: extended leather, power windows, power doors, power seats, six disc Harmon-Kardon stereo, seats warmers, and air conditioning. Have the look and performance of an exotic car, but not the cost or maintenance worries. The S52 engine is the same as that in the M3 and this car shares many common elements with the more common Z3, so parts will always be available at a fraction of the cost for other exotic cars. This car has been babied. The interior and exterior are in excellent condition. The Z rated tires are in good condition. There is some evidence of normal wear, but far less than you would expect for a car of this age. Mileage is well below average, the car has always been garaged, and oil changes have been performed at a higher frequency than recommended using only synthetic oil. There are two small scratches on the front hood. Some spiderweb cracks in the paint on the front airdam and some very slight scratches on the driver side rear quarter panel. All are minor. The interior is almost perfect other than normal wear on the steering wheel, gear shift knob, and driver's seat.
